RadioBooWah When I saw the title I thought it was the perfect comment for this (or perhaps any) era of politics. Turns out it was really lovely musical interlude which took me out of that kind thinking.
Love that the idea came from a dream. Phased out and augmented Sondheim leads to a moment of inner peace. Favorite track: Clown Phase.

So how this came about was I had a bizarre dream about an experimental performance of this song played by two pianists at the same time - one a proper pianist, the other a beginner who kept making mistakes - and not listening to each other; the point of the experimental performance was the interesting phasing effects created. I woke up part way through the performance and thought 'well that could make for an interesting piece' and decided to have a go at making it for real
